Join us for group Skills Sessions!
RAD Skills Sessions are designed to teach you the skills required to improve your riding techniques, and progress to meet your goals for this adventure sport.
This is an opportunity for you to work on skills with certified Mountain Bike Instructors.
YOUTH Ages 8-12
FUNdamentals of Mountain Biking
Topics include Body Positioning, Speed & Braking, Bike/Body Separation, Selecting your Line
Cross-Country (XC) Skills 4 Weeks: Mondays 6 to 7:30pm at Rockwood Park - June 2, 9, 16, 23
Downhill Skills (DH) 4 Weeks: Sundays 10 to 11:30am at Poley Bike Park - June 8, 15, 22, 29
WOMEN+ 19+
Beginner to Intermediate Mountain Biking
Topics include Technical Descents & Climbs, Bike/Body Separation, Front/Rear Wheel Lifts, Cornering at Speed
Cross-Country (XC) Skills 4 Weeks: Mondays 6 to 7:30pm at Rockwood Park - June 2, 9, 16, 23
Downhill Skills (DH) 4 Weeks: Sundays 10am to 11:30am at Poley Bike Park - June 8, 15, 22, 29
ADVANCED 19+
Progress your Downhill Skills with one of our Level 2 Instructors
Confident riders that have shown proficiency with Beginner to Intermediate technique. Topics covered include Intro to Drops, Jumps, Advanced Cornering Through Berms
Sundays 10am to 11:30am at Poley Bike Park
Choose your dates: June 8, 15, 22, and/or 29
Meeting Locations:
Rockwood Park, Saint John @ Upper Fisher Lakes Parking Lot
Poley Bike Park, Waterford @ Base of Lodge
Please note, you are responsible for your own trail access ticket or membership:
Recommended at Rockwood Park - Velo NB or Saint John Cycling membership
Required at Poley Bike Park - Day Ticket or Season Pass
Please arrive ready to ride at least 15 minutes prior and check-in with our Team. If you are running late, your Leader might already have departed for the trail.
